The valuable metals of the 1 ores are copper, silver and gold. Mln-I Mln-I ing has been done by several companies, I with some development wn-k on a num-I num-I ber of prospects. The report contains a I description of the geology of tho district ! and of tho character and form of the j deposits, and presents facts bearing upon I the (juestlon whether the oro bodies are I of sufficient value to warrant the expenditure ex-penditure of the large amount of capital which would be required for their extraction ex-traction and reduction. Local conditions l affecting tho cost of mining and milling should, it l suggested, be most carefully considered In connection with plans for I mining .the ores.
