The action will also bc taken up by the members of tho "Seeing America First" association, which includes in-cludes practically all of the commercial commer-cial organixations in the Western States. It is felt that the action of the association is n blow at the tourist travel to these regions and if allowed to be put into forco will work incalculable incalcu-lable harm to the mterosts of these Stales. It is said that one of the greatest great-est attractions which these States have is their natural scenery, and it is theso things which attract the tourists, who. having come here and soeu the oppor: tunilifes for doing business, often remain. re-main. It is proposed, therefore, to start an active campnign against the action of tho Western Passenger association in order or-der to defeat, its attempt to advance the tounst rates and thus deprive the cities west of Ihe Missouri river of the benefits of travel which has been in the past productive of so much good .to the intormountrtin and coast regions. |
