Show II IT Fl DiVOREE Sarah HeiTernau Recites Her Woes to Third District - Court. According to a . complaint filed in a divorce suit in the Third District court Thursday by Sarah HoO'cynau against Frank E. Heffernan, who is an undertaker under-taker at Bingham, tho plaintiff has been treated in a most inhuman manner and has been tho subject of all kinds of abuse from her husband. Tho parties were married February 34, 1005, and have one child, a baby girl, which was born last August. Tho plaintiff, in her complaint, alleges al-leges that her husband has been treating treat-ing her in a cruel manner and has been repeatedly in an intoxicated condition. SKe alleges that he has called her vile names, choked her, broken the dishes, and ejected her from tho house in iu-clement iu-clement weather. She pets forth that on one occasion he threw a heavy mirror at her; that on another occasion occa-sion he threw a large ear of corn at her; that he has thrown tho meals which she has prepared into the slop-bucket; slop-bucket; that he has thrown the. teakettle, tea-kettle, full of hot. water, onto the floor. Sho also alleges that when her child was but three weeks old her husband hus-band came home one night in an intoxicated intox-icated condition and slapped her in the face and threatened to shoot her mother, moth-er, making it noccsary for them to call on a deputy sheriff for protection. The defendant has also, she alleges, forbidden the storekeepers to sell her anj' provisions and for the last two months has failed to provide her with tho comon necessities of life. She has been compelled to return to her mother's moth-er's homo for lack of being provider! for by her husband. The plaintiff asks for $50 attorney's fees, a like amount for costs of tho suit, for $30 a month alimony, and for the custody of tho child. |
