Show THOUSANDS NT LAST TUBE Tfl MUTER Body of Veteran Omaha Editor Is Interred With Imposing Masonic Rites. OMAITA, Sept. 2. The funeral of Edward llosewnter, late proprietor and editor of the Omaha Hue, who was found dead Friday morning, occurred this afternoon with Masonic honors from the rotunda of tho Bee building. Tho body was exposed to public view between the hours of 12 and 3 o'clock, during which time many thousands thou-sands o persons of all classes filed past tho casket. In addition to tho crowd on the Oral floor, the second and third floors, from which a view of the casket could bo obtuined, were filled .Tvith . great crowds. The ceremony consisted of the Masonic Ma-sonic ritual service, and was conducted by Worshipful Master Charles L. Porter, Por-ter, assisted by George W. Lininger. It was followed by addresses bv Dr. George L. Miller, "Eobert Cowell and W. J. Connell of Omahn: Morris Brown. Attorney-General of Nebraska, anu successful candidate for the recent Republican Re-publican Stato convention for United States Senator, for which office Mr. Rosewnter also was a candidato, and Melvin R. Hopewell. Republican nomi-ieo nomi-ieo for Lieutenant-Governor. At tho conclusion of the addresses a quartette sang "Lead, Kindly Light." The services in tho rotunda were closed with an impressive Masonic ceremony and with prayer by Rabbi Colin of Temple Israel. Hancv, Luther Drake, Arthur Brandeis, Eleazor Wakeley, Morris Levy, W. A. Paxton, Lotus Raapkc, Lewis Reed, John A. Creih-tou, Creih-tou, L, H. Korty and Vanclav Bu-resch. Bu-resch.
