A letter to tho votors of Idaho, from a Republican: Re-publican: I am a Republican, and so 3tnunck a Republican that up to dato I, undor no circumstances or conditions, have ever changed my rote or assisted in the success suc-cess of any other party, locr.lly or from a national na-tional standpoint. I shall vote tho Republican Repub-lican ticket in tho next Presidential campaign, cam-paign, to assist in (jiving tho Nation a Re-publican Re-publican administration, and I do not wish my writings or sucsestions to influence one voter from tho Republican party, nationally; but hero in these intermountain States wo pro confronted with a local condition oxlsting nowhero elso in tho country, and a, condition that all true Americans should intorcst themselves them-selves in, irrespective of party affiliations. I am going to address myself to tho good pooplo and voters of the State of Idaho, where this un-American condition strongly oxists, and I am in hopes will receive a death blow at the polls in that State this fall in the bottle of tho, ballots. I am writing this nppeal to tho Idaho votors, in Salt Luke City, almost undor the dome of the Temple of this un American and individual liberty-controlling monarchy tho Mormon priesthood and I know whereof I snouk. becaueo to thoroughly know Mormon-ism, Mormon-ism, you must live and mingle with them, so-ciallv so-ciallv and commercially, 1 am not going to discuss the Mormon creed, as I am not opposing op-posing their church or religion, so far as it is consistent with tho true principles of the American Government I know the State of Idaho well; I know its people and conditions; I know the various sectional inlerosts of its people, and I know thore are thousands of its citizens that have no conception of the, power of tho Mormon priesthood over tho individuality in-dividuality of tho members of tho Mormon church, and T know if they did realize the facts the Mormon priesthood power would be broken iu Idaho at this fall eloction. Priesthood Always Obeyed.
