The accident H occurred on the night of Sept. 22. The H matter was referred to the Conimittco on Claims. A communication was read from the H City Engineer, in which it was stated H that the presidents of the Associated Canal companies had awarded the con-H' con-H' tract for installing a 100-horsc power H motor, a 40- degree centrifugal pump H and a lire pump at the Utah Lake H jiiimpiiig station to Fairbanks, Morse H & Co. of Salt Lake City, tho contract S price being $6,985.
