C., to make a report Of his Inspeetlon of the Jetties at the mouth of Columbia river, mar Astoria, Ore. During the proirrt-b.-- of the Lewis and Clark exposition at Portland Mr. ESlmbeck was in charge of the Coast and Geodetic Survey exhibit there, and at its close was, assigned to duty In connection with the Columbia river jetties. Mr Flmbeck Is not b any means a stranger in Salt Lake.
