Gardner, Gard-ner, who owns the art collection tn the Fenway, this city would not discuss to-diiy to-diiy the dispatch from Rome concerning concern-ing the disappearance, of the picture, ''Christ With the Cross." by Glorgione, except to say that she knew nothing of the disappearance of the noted painting from Vlcensea. However, the public catalogue cat-alogue of Mrs. Gardner's art collection Indicated that It contains Glorglone's 'Head of Christ." and that this picture camo from the Casa Loschl, Vlcensea. Think It Same Picture. An Inquiry among artiste In this city today developed the opinion that the picture pic-ture of Glorgione catalogued In Mrs. 1 Gardner's collection is undoubtedly the same referred to as having disappeared from the Loschl palace at Vlcensea.
