Show TEDDY, JR., RESIGNS AS HARVARD CREW MANAGER BOSTON. Oct. 24. Teddy Roosevelt. Jr., has resigned as assistant manager of the Harvard varsity crew, and G. P. Don-nly Don-nly has beqn appointed In his place. Roosevelt was assistant manager all last season and was In line for the office of manager for tho coming year. He is, however. Intensely Interested In football, and Ire could not play football as candidate candi-date for the varsity squad and at the same time attend to his duties with the crew. He has been laid up with a iamo knee ever slnco the Exeter Harvard second sec-ond game. His enthusiasm for football has not been diminished, and ho will continue con-tinue practice, hoping to land on tho team at the end of next year, though ho fails this fall. |
