SHORT LINE VIADUCT mm cupiETi Structure Will Be in Use by the End of February. By the end of February the viaduct over tho Oregon Short Line yard running run-ning on North Temple from Third to rirtn west win oe completed and cars will be on operation in the same. Tho highway is now being floored and this done rails will be laid. With the viaduct via-duct finished traffic will be divertod from South Lo North Temple and across the elevated way; South Temple will bo closed and the work of tho reconstruction recon-struction of the yards at the south end will be facilitated. The work of reconstructing re-constructing thc yard is about two thirdB finished and just as soon as that task is completed work on the new depot de-pot will bo inaugurated. The new freight house is also nearine completion. The freight shecV. and plaf-forms plaf-forms are now in uso but the offices are not yet ready for occupancy and tho old ones are still being used. In about two weeks' time thero will be a general migration of clerks from the old wooden structures to the handsome new building and thc old ones, whose day of service is ended, will be wiped
