Salt Lake's death rate for the month of November w.-.s lower than that of any other city In the United Statcp. according accord-ing 10 the report of the Board of Health, Issued Tuesday. Death Rate Remarkably Low. This report shows thut while tho annual an-nual death rale per 1000, llased upon the number of deaths for the month, would be 1".24, the actual death rate for the niolith Is .So. There were C4 deaths durln, the month 33 males and 31 females Of this number 25 wcro non-residents. Nlnc-t.- n bodies were brought here for burial and 22 were shipped away. A3 to Birth Rate. IB; varioloid. 2, tuberculosis. 2; pneumonia, 5. Work of Sanitary Department, The Sanitary department did the following fol-lowing work. Forty-eight houses containing con-taining 24S rooms, fumigated, 50 complaints com-plaints received and attended to; 2-Vi visits and Inspections; 75 written notices served; 160 vaults, cesspools and grcase-trnps grcase-trnps cleaned; ?." notices for removal of refuse served; 40 sewer connections inspected. in-spected. Work of Crematory. The crematory disposed of 245 loads of garbage, 10 loads of swill, 630 poundB of condemned f.x d, 20 horses, 3 cows, C5 dogs and 2 calves.
