Show Court Notes. George A. Olmstcad Ls alleged to havo assaulted his wife, Lydla Olmstead. This fact It set forth in a complaint Issued by Assistant County Attorney Whltaker yesterday. yes-terday. It Is said that tho defendant struck his wife without provocation and that but for tho interference of outsiders might have committed a graver offenso than that of assault and battery, with which he is charged. The complainant in the case Is a brother of Mrs. Olmstead. Judgment was rendered by Judgo Hall yesterday in the case of the Salt Lake Investment In-vestment company vs. W. S. Sheridan et al.. quieting title In tho plaintiff to lot 1, block 7, plat J, Salt Lake City survey. Title was also quieted In the above plaintiff plain-tiff to blocks C, 11, 20. 21 and 22, section 19, township 1 south, range 1 west. Salt Lako meridian, in the case against J. M. Nelson Nel-son et al. William W. Whltchcr was granted a decree de-cree of divorce from Bertha Whltchcr by Judge Morse yesterday. Tho plaintiff alleged al-leged that hl3 wlfo deserted him In September. Sep-tember. 1900, leaving his bedside, where ho was confined with a severe attack of rheumatism. The couple were married April 20, 1SG0, at Florence, Colo. After only three months of married llfo, Mabel J. McCormac has come to the conclusion con-clusion that single blessedness Is best. She alleges desertion, non-support and cruelty In her complaint, filed against George F.
