griff was the scene of a thoroughly delightful de-lightful afternoon lea on Wednesday last l enjoyed by 100 guests Flowers and palms were used with exquisite taste in the various rooms In the hall green alone was used n row of palms and bay trees forming a sort of avenue leading to the diningroom while at the foot 1 of the staircase a high bank of 1 pulms formed a screen in front of the musicians Jhe guests were received in the reception room which was done in white and grown crysnnlhcmums and carnations bting combined with ferns and plumota Pink and white carnations carna-tions with greens formed the decorations decora-tions In the music loom while in the r library yellow alone was seen A mass of chrysanthemums ornamented the punch table and vases of them were seen on mantel and table Hut the most beautiful decorations were those I of the diningroom which v ere all in led A tall cutglass vase of American Beauties stood in the center of the din ingtable and another filled a club-house on Friday evening by the junior class of the high school The auditorIum audito-rium and large reception hall were guy with black and red the school colors and many palms graced the rooms A number of cosy corners were also arranged ar-ranged about the room and hall A large number of young people were pres ell L and the hours were very pleasantly passed until midnight The chaperons were connected with the marriage of Miss Esther Riley and Andrew Johnston which took place at Boise last Wednesday afternoon The bride Is a trained nurse a graduate of St Marks Training School for Nurses and went to Boise about two years ago to follow her profession Not long ago the groom became seriously ill with typhoid fever the services of a trained nurse were necessary find Miss Rllcy was called upon The patient was nursed back to health and only a few wholes elapsed until his nurse became his bride Mr Johnston is one of Ida hos wealthy young sheepmen and is well and popularly known through
