DOPED AND ROBBED Traveling Man Accused Salt Lale Saloonkeeper t I J Ws F00TE < ARRESTED I l 1 Arthur Coke of St Louis Makes Charges v Claims He Whs Given Drugged Liquor Bobbed mid Beaten in Footos Saloon Saturday J W Foote proprietor of the New Resort snloon on Main street was arrested ar-rested by l a deputy sheriff je terday on the charge of robbery He was taken before Judge DIehl of the City court for arraignment and was released on bond In the sum of 500 Arthur Coke a salesman for the Lemp Browing company is I the complainant com-plainant In the cue and alleges that he went Jnto the New Resort Saturday night where he was robbed of 275 and a diamond pin lie claims that he played a game of dice with two l other men and took several drinks which had been doped He then alleges that one of the men claimed that he was Indebted In-debted to him for 100 In addition to what he had lost and demanded set tlement t On disclaiming the obligation Coke It Is charged ns struck In the face and rendered unconscious A physician was summoned and he was taken to the Wilson hotel whcic he discovered the loss of his money and jewelry When arraigned yesterday Foote declared de-clared that he had been drinking and disclaims all knowledge the matter
