| Show TONOPAH HANNAP AHA AH-A Practical Miner Who Claims They Are on the Same Zone Carrying credentials from the Miners union of Tonopah Nev Thomas J Casoy arrived from the West yesterday yester-day on his way to Denver where he will participate In the approaching session of the Western Federation of miners which convenes on May 25th Mr Casey ays of the condition of the miner nt Tonopah at this time that it Is a most prosperous one and while the camp Is comparatively an Infant Its mines disclose an enrollment oC 705 persons employed the miner receiving 54 for an eighthour shift as prescribed pre-scribed by the Nevada statute which not only enables him to provide comfortably com-fortably for Betsy and the babies but to lay I aside a dollar or two for rainy weather A series of strikes In the camp within the past few weeks has done much to stimulate developments and to extend the search along the zone said Mr Casey and the year will close with the mineralbearing horizon vastly expanded Among the more Important Im-portant of these have been the disclosures dis-closures in the OhloTonopah and Belmont Bel-mont the latter an extension of the Mlxpah ledge and Indicating quite conclusively con-clusively I that It Is headed for the Halifax Hali-fax group being developed by Messrs Keith and Kearns of this city It Is also quite generally recognized In camp now that Hannapali which Is Indebted to Salt Lake talent for Its prominence Is an extension of the same zone on the east and the prospector Is accordingly accord-ingly very much interested In developments develop-ments over there Already It has been demonstrated In the llannnpah that the formation is the same the ledge matter and the ores are identical and many believe that the territory at Hannapali Is as capable of big mines as It Is at the older camp Mr Casey who represents repre-sents the intelligence of Nevada mining mi-ning morning will continue on his Journey this |
