against the Amalgamated Copper company to a sudden ending by denying the application of the complainants com-plainants for an Injunction to restrain the absorbing of the Butte Boston and Boston Montana companies by the Amalgamated company Isaac S Taylorof counsel for the complainants gave notice that he would appeal and the ViceChancellor therefore granted a temporary stay until Thursday next at G p m Meanwhllle the Intqrestea parties In the case must file a bond for 520000 each to cover any possible damage When the case was called today much lime was spent In presenting schedules showing the quoted prices oC the stocks of the companies between April 13th and June 12th This finished fin-ished Mr C Albert Lamb of counsel for the complainants tried hard to get In a certified copy of the report of the Butte < fc Boston company showing the assets and liabilities of the company at the close of last fiscal year but Linda bury for the defense objected claimIng claim-Ing It was too late He was sustained The report which ho wanted to get In was signed by Henry E Rogers as president and William G Rockefeller as secretary They arc two of the dl rcctors who have resigned At this the one question is whether the transaction of the Amalgamated company is Illegal because of the fact that Directors of the companjr owned stock In the company to be absorbed and whether the price It
