Show MOTHERS CAUSE FOR REJOICING Mrs Joseph Rudman of Lehi Junction Overjoyed to t Find that a Prisoner in the Salt Lake Jail is Not Her Son > > I Thank God it is not my John These were the words of Mrs Joseph Rudman of Lchl Junction yesterday at the city jail when she confronted one of tho prisoner John Redman the party whom the excited woman viewed I was convicted in the Police cpprt on June 21th of inserting to houses of ill I repute and given 0 sentence 110 days Mrs Rudman has a son John a brake I I man running on the Central Pacific from Ogden On account of the similarity I simi-larity of their names when the case of Redman was published it was circulated circu-lated at Lehl Junction that John Bud man was In Jail Mrs Rudman had not heard from her son since the conviction convic-tion of Redman and therefore could not successful dispute the report So accompanied by Mrs Joel Mcais an aunt of John Rudman the two came to Salt Lake to get tho facts exonerate the boy and vindicate the honor of the family They called at The Tribune ofDce Immediately af lei visiting the Jail and tpld of the incident Mrs Rud nan aid she was all the time satisfied that It was not her boy who was In jail but the anxiety caused by the report was so great that she could not stand tho suspense and so she had come to see for herself The Indies returned home in a much more contented slate of mind than when they came and feeling of the days well repaid journey by the glad results |
