Show UNITARIANS SEEKING A PASTOR I Steps Taken Last Evening at Meeting Meet-ing of Board of Trustees It will be good news to many in this city thai the board of trustees of the First Unitarian society ia i ondcavorlncr to make arrangements whereby the regular church services of the society j nuiy be resumed The organization has I held no regular meetings since Juno last and has been without a pastor j I since early in September last year 1 I Considerable interest i has been manifested mani-fested In the Suit Lake branch of the association by I the American Unitarian association it seeming to consider this I a firstclass Held for a Unitarian church So at a meeting of the board of trustees of the First Unitarian association I asso-ciation held last evening at the oflicc of C Ij Baum It was decided to communicate com-municate with the AW A stating the I exact situation here the expense of running a church time amount which can be depended upon to be raised amtfng those interested In the movement move-ment and ask substantial aid from the A W A Tho board of trustees Is hopeful hope-ful that the request will be granted and that soon the Unitarian church in I this city i will again open Its doors I At present the trustees have no pastor pas-tor In view but will ask the American i Unitarian association to suggest a firstclass man for v the place One of the members of the board stated last night that only a man of exceptional ability vlll suit the people who will attend at-tend the Unitarian dhurch here and 1 unless they can obtain the I services of I hiih a pastor the board of trustees thinks It > ould be wiser 1 to not have i any at all I I There were present at the meeting last evening Messrs Baum Whitney 1 I Sulich Porter and Lawrence I |
