were married at 6 p m yesterday at the home of tine brides parents Mr and Mrs B G Patyboulcl of 511 South West Temple street It was a very pretty ceremony witnessed by a number of relatives and friends Afterward a brilliant reception was hold and all made merry during the succeeding hours Both the bnlde and I groom have a wide circle of friends und their presents were many and beautiful They leave for Blngham thIs morning where the groom Is connected con-nected with the United States Mining company They will be at home to their friends at that city but no cards will bo Issued The rooms were beautiful In their decorations The front parlor wan bright with cut flowers and smllax but the center of Interest was In the library where the ceremony was performed per-formed The bow window hud been lined with pure white imille and surrounded sur-rounded with white portals und an arch all being delicately twined with amllax From the center of the white dome hung a large while bell one single Easter lily hanging from Its center and the Interior being lit with green electric lights The floor was of white fur rugs White and green were time colors carried out and the room was brightly garlanded Rev W Daunt Scott of SL Pauls and the groom entered the room und proceeded to the window The Chris tenses orchestra In the front parlor started the Mendelnsohn march and the bridal party entered Miss Rose Raybould was maid of honor Miss Daisy Raybould bridesmaid and W T Gxmior groomsman During the ceremony cere-mony the orchestra softly rendered the Intermezzo from Cavallerla Rusti cana and afterward the Lohengrin march The bride wore an exqulsito gown of white liberty over white silken silk-en tragic and carried lilies of the valley Miss Rose Raybould was In blue mousscllne de sole and Miss Daisy Raybould In pink organdie Mrs B G Raybould wore a handsome gown of black satin in the hallway punch was served 1 and refreshment in the diningroom p Pink was the color In this room Ninth cavalry stationed at Fort Douglas and Mrs White accompanied Lieut Pearsdn and bride from lie Kcnyon hotel to Dr PudenH studio and stood up with them as the knot was tied Both olllcers were In uniform Then the bridal party returned to the Kcnyon where a number of friends called to extend congratulations In the even Jag Lieut and Mrs Pearson went up to Fort Dougles where they were very hospitably received and entertained A delightful evening was spent and then the happy couple returned to the hotel They will visit the Tabernacle thla morning the lake In the afternoon and tomorrow leave for Fort Duchesne on the 215 p m train remaining at Price over night Mrs Pearson could not understand yesterday why her trip was regarded as no romantic Her sister she said had taken a similar trip clear to South Africa successfully and that was far more risky than her own trip through a thlckly settled country In a Pullman S 0 0 The Chinese Sundayschool of the First Congregational church gave u farewell reception last night In the parlors of the church to Miss Anna Wallace who leaves shortly for West Virginia to reside mainly on account of her fathers health Miss Wallace has been a resident of this city for live years and has always btun prominent In educational und religious work She has for some lime been a teacher in the Ninth school a valuable member of the Christian Endeavor of the Congregational church and a fulth fill teacher In the Chinese Sunday schoolS school-S The programme of last evening which was managed by the Chinese students Included recitations singing and special exercises by the school a song by Mrs L C Miller an address from Mrs M E Jones superintendent of the Ninth school and a valued worker In the Chinese school and talks from number of visitors The Chinese boys served ice cream cake fruit and cotTee which were appreciated The evening was much enjoyed I The Reviewers club met yesterday with Mrs Roylc and elected Mrs A C EwliiK as the
