Show Cliff Cockayne Voices Candidacy For Reelection to Assessor Post ' the assessor said: "If I am reelected re-elected I will continue to give careful study and intimate consideration con-sideration to any and all problems prob-lems that may arise and conduct the office for the benefit and convenience of the people of the county. "The office of county assessor carries great responsibility. I feel that my background and experience ex-perience qualifies me for this responsibility. "I have a well trained staff of employees who are putting forth every effort to make the assessor's asses-sor's job a continued success. Mr. Cockayne has resided in Salt Lake City for the past 36 years. He was educated in the LDS Business College and the University of Utah and has had i extensive business experience. He is a past president of the Utah State Association of County Assessors, an executive board member of the State Association of County Officials and is active in church and civic work. He is a life-long member of the Democratic party. He has served as a county organization officer from the voting district level to the county chairman. S. C.
