Show Recreation Items Sought For American Fork Training School A state-wide drive to collect toys, sewing kits, television sets coloring books, crayons, penny candy, sporting equipment, anc1 . other recreation items for thf children of the American Fork Training School was launched by the Utah State Public Employees Em-ployees Association this week. According to Dean R. Steed chief accountant of the Utah State Department of Highway? and president of the State Employees' Em-ployees' Association, collection stations to receive the items have been established in the State Caoitol Building, State Office Building, the State Highway High-way Maintenance Shops at 13,th South, 5th West, in Salt Lake City. Collections , for American Fork Training School children may also be turned in at the District Offices of the Highway Department located at 727 West 1st South, Salt Lake City, and in other Utah cities. Chairman of the Drive is Jay L. Sandberg, Traffic Survey Engineer, En-gineer, Utah State Department of Highways. Other committee members are James G. Cayias, Safety Coordinator, State Insurance Insur-ance Fund; Chris S. Metos, In-"ormation In-"ormation Officer, Department of Highways; Herbert Fehmel. Senior Highway Designer; and George Heltman, president, Utah Association of Radio and Television Tele-vision Servicemen. ' Used television sets turned in for the American Fork Training School children will be repaired by the local members of the Utah Association of Radio and Television Tele-vision Servicemen.
