Show I censed and registered. Dog li- censes shall be issued by the j Department of Animal Control, j upon payment of a license fee of three ($3.00) dollars for each male or spayed female, and six ($6.00) dollars for each un-spayed un-spayed female dog. If such li-cense li-cense fee is not paid by said owner on or before March 31st following said due date, the license li-cense fee thereafter shall be four ($4.00) dollars for each male and spayed female and seven ($7.00) dollars for each j unspayed female for the said 1 licensing year. The owner shall state at the time application is made for such license, his name and address, the sex, breed, and color of each dog owned or kept f by him. The license fee shall I cover the calendar year in which J the license is issued, expiring on the 31st day of December of the I year of issuance regardless of the date thereof. No female dog shall be licensed and spayed without a certificate of a registered reg-istered graduate veterinarian that he has performed an ovariotomy ovari-otomy upon such female dog. Payment of license fees for all dogs and dog kennels shall be made at the office of. the County License Director. That should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance ordi-nance be declared by the courts v to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordi- I nance as a whole or any part I thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Salt Lake County, Utah, that Section 3, Chapter 7, Title 4 of the Amended Ordinances of Salt Lake County, Utah, December 4, 1961, as Amended, relating to dogs, their license and registration, registra-tion, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 4-7-3 LICENSE AND REGISTRATION REG-ISTRATION REQUIRED: All dogs over four (4) months of age, kept, harbored, or maintained main-tained by any person in the County of Salt Lake shall be li- |
