Show Two Seeking Post Of Lions 28-T District Governor Two Salt Lake County men have announced candidacy for governor of District 28-T of Lions International embracing 34 clubs in Salt Lake and Tooele counties. Albert G. Zenger of Salt Lake City, presently deputy district governor, is sponsored by the Glendale Park Lions Club. Ray D. Merrill of Magna, also presently serving as deputy district dis-trict governor, is sponsored by the Magna Lions Club. Lion Zenger has served as president of the Glendale Lions Club and was a district zone chairman from 1959 to 1960. He was named deputy district governor gov-ernor in 1960 and served as chairman of the Brighton Training Train-ing Conference. Lion Merrill has served the Magna Lions Club in various official of-ficial capacities for nine years. He served in the district as zone chairman and was named deputy district governor in 1960. Both candidates are currently campaigning among clubs throughout the district. Governors Gover-nors for the four district in Utah will be elected by delegates at the annual state' convention-this spring in St. George. |
