Show Fish-Game Licenses Available April 8 Utah's fish and game licenses for 1960 will be in the hands of all license agents over the state by April 8, according to the department de-partment of fish and game. The department reminded that legislative law sets the fish and gime license year beginning Apr. 16 through Apr. 15 the year following. fol-lowing. In other words, the 1959 license must be visibly displayed dis-played when afield through Apr. 15 this year, with the proper 1960 license being required beginning be-ginning Apr. 16. . All 1960 resident licenses will show red license numbers on a green background. For the nonresident non-resident issue the numbers will be blue on yellow paper. The law requires all persons purchasing a resident license to have been bona fide domesciled in the state at least one full year prior to such purchase. All regular license fees are also set by legislative action. They are the same this year as during 1959. With more than 500 agents over the state prepared to issue the 1960 licenses one week before the April 16 deadline, the department de-partment said no excuse will be accepted from anyone using an outdated license thereafter. A new law this year also requires re-quires all resident juveniles to show a certificate or other required re-quired proof of having successfully success-fully passed a gun safety training train-ing course prior to purchase of a hunting or combination fishing and hunting license. |
