Registration may be made with the manager in charge of each marsh, with the provision that if the number of trappers registering register-ing exceeds the number believed to be in the best interest of refuge ref-uge management, a drawing will be held Jan. 16 at the respective marsh headquarters. The six state refuges are Clear Lake, Farmington Bay, Ogden Bay, Howard's Slough, Locomotive Locomo-tive Springs and Public Shooting Shoot-ing Grounds. Army Specialist Kaare C. Jensen, Jen-sen, son of Mrs. Mary Gjerd-man, Gjerd-man, 461 So. 2nd West, recently qualified as expert in firing the .45 calibre submachine gun while serving with the 18th Artillery in Germany. Specialist Jensen, a driver in the artillery's Battery C in Ha-nau, Ha-nau, entered the Army in March 1958 and arrived overseas the following August. |
