Show Police Chief Skousen To Lead Youth Talks Salt Lake City's police chief, W. Cleon Skousen, author of several sev-eral books and former college professor and FBI agent, will lead four young people in a dis-cision dis-cision of today's youth problems on NBC's network "Faith in Action" Ac-tion" program Sunday, Mar. 13. This will be the second in a series of four March "Faith in Action" broadcasts featuring the current youth program of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Subject of the discussion dis-cussion will be "Facing Today's Problems." The program will be aired on the network at 8:15 a.m. and it will be re-released for western listeners by KCPX at 7:45 a.m. Participating on the panel will be Grant Squires, 17, high school senior; Kay Stewart, 16, high schol sophomore; Garfield Cook, 19, college freshman and Winifred Wini-fred Tedesco, 20, college junior. The latter two are students at the University of Utah. Their discussion will cover such subjects as the choosing of friends, importance of faith in daily living, physical fitness, and youth and the automobile. Introducing Chief Skousen and his panelists will be Richard Evans, whose "Spoken Word" commentary has been a part of the weekly national broadcast of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for more than 30 years. |
