Show Accountants Ready Tax Conference The Eighth annual tax conference confer-ence sponsored jointly by the Utah Chapter, National Associa-toin Associa-toin of Accountants and the Utah Society of Public Accountants will be held Friday and Saturday, Satur-day, Dec. 9 and 10 at the New-house New-house Hotel in Salt Lake City. "Tax Trends for the Sixties" has been chosen as the theme of the conference. Prominent men, all experts in the tax field, have been engaged to discuss many of the complexities of our present tax structure. The much talked of 'Travel and Entertainment Entertain-ment Expenses" will be aired by David" K. Koenigsberg, chief, Post Review Section, Office of the Regoinal Commissioner, San Francisco, Calif. With the construction of dams, highways and other facilities required re-quired to accommodate our exploding ex-ploding population, the subject of "Involuntary . Conversions. Condemnations,' Severances and Their Tax Aspects,'' is timely. This subject will be treated by Bryant H. Croft, former Assistant Assist-ant U. S. Attorney for Utah. ant U. S. Attorney for Utah. Holt, Director of Audit, Utah Tax Commission, Salt Lake City; "Qualified Profit Sharing and Pension Plans for Small Corporations" Corpo-rations" by Blair Morris, Pen-soin Pen-soin Consultant, Salt Lake City; "Current Problems in Taxation, by Jerome Kesselman, Professor of Accounting, University of Denver; "Tax Problems of Sub Chapters R and S Corporations by Herbert J. Zimmerman, CPA. Salt Lake City. Friday luncheon guest speakers will be Jack Higginbotham, Acting Act-ing District Director of Internal Revenue, and Orville Gunther, Chairman, Utah State Tax Commission. Com-mission. Registration for the conference will commence Friday Fri-day morning, Dec. 9, at 8:00 a.m. on the mezzanine floor of the Ncwhouse Hotel.
