Show Museum Exhibits Forty Paintings Scenes of daily life of about 100 years ago are featured in an exhibit of 40 paintings to be on display at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, top floor of the University Uni-versity of Utah Park Bldg., Feb. 6-26. The paintings are on loan from several museums of the United States to the American Federation Federa-tion of Arts, which arranged for the touring exhibit. The exhibit is coming to the University of Utah from Louisville, Ky. Dr. I. O. Horsfall, director of the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, said the exhibit will be open to the public Mondays through Fridays Fri-days from 9 to 11:45 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 3 to 5 p.m. In addition, special hours may be made for groups. If the power to do hard work is not a talent, it is the best possible pos-sible substitute for it. James A. Garfield. |
