Show Democrats Select Officials for National Convention Appointment of J. Leonard Reinsch of Atlanta, Georgia, as special assistant to the chairman in charge of the I960 National Convention, was announced by Paul M. Butler, chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Mr. Reinsch, who serves as TV and Radio consultant of the national na-tional committee, was general manager of the 1956 National Convention, TV-Radio director of the 1952 Convention, Radio Director of the 1944 Convention and Radio Director of the Roosevelt-Truman campaign in 1944. He also served as Radio Advisor to the White House. He was a member of the Advisory Committee Com-mittee on Rules for the , 1956 Convention. In his '60 capacity Mr. Reinch will be in charge of all physical arrangements for the convention as well as assisting the chairman in planning the convention program. pro-gram. "We feel fortunate to have the services of Mr. Reinsch for the 1960 convention," Mr. Butler declared. de-clared. "His efficient direction contributed greatly to the success suc-cess of the 1956 convention and his background in the field of communications is invaluable in planning arrangements for the news media and in working out the programming of convention events." He is author of the book, "Radio "Ra-dio Station Management," published pub-lished by Harper & Bros., and is one of the drafters of the National Na-tional Television Code.
