Show Young Democrats Elect Officers ?f fTj, ';f I ' 1 c I . RICHARD MOFFAT The Salt Lake County Young Democratic Club this week had elected Richard H. Moffat, Salt Lake attorney, as president. Mr. Moffat succeeds Grant Macfarlane Jr. in the office. Other officers elected at a meeting in the City and County Building were Mrs. Ross C. Clay, vice president; Mrs. Virginia L. Fitzgerald, secretary, and Daniel G. Dix, treasurer. Named to the board of directors direc-tors were John Avery, Robert Moore, Ralph Klemm, Richard Thomas, Kaye Faulkner, Virginia Vir-ginia Ward, Henry Adams, and Warren Weggeland. Mr. Moffatt said plans are being be-ing made for the state convention conven-tion of Young Democratic Clubs of Utah in St. George May 1, 2, and 3. Mr. Moffat, a graduate of the University of Utah in political science and of Stanford University Univer-sity law school, was a member of the organization's board of directors di-rectors last year. He is a member of the South Cottonwood Lions Club. |
