Show BYU to Present Christmas Hour The Brigham Young University Christmas Hour, the annual TV production of the university, will be presented Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. according to Owen S. Rich, chairman of radio and TV programs pro-grams at BYU and producer of the show. Titled "The Little Boy Who Lost Christmas," the show will be narrated by Lynn McKinlay, member of the speech faculty, and will feature a cast of more than 100 students. The program is being presented under the direction di-rection of the BYU program Bureau, the Department of Dramatic Dra-matic Arts, the Division of Radio and Television, and the dance department. Choral offerings will be by the A'Cappella Choir, the Opera Workshop and the Madrigal Singers. Numerous variety numbers num-bers will be woven into the show as the story progresses. The story deals with a small boy who has lost the spirit of Christmas. The decorated trees and bright lights don't interest him and even the prospect of toys and goodies prove uninteresting. uninter-esting. The Christmas Fairy comes one night in a dream and takes the boy on a Christmas tour. Upon awakening, he learns the true meaning of Christmas. Talent director for the program pro-gram will be Mrs. Fontell Mes-servy; Mes-servy; program coordinator is Dorothy Whittaker, and Charles Henson will be in charge of the sets. |
