| Show I I I I Grandma Day Passed Away A yay at Her Het Home Saturday Mrs Mary Jane Simons Day 82 long life-long resident of Bountiful died early Saturday afternoon at the family residence of apoplexy Her health had been failing for a long time Mrs Day was born in Bountiful January 1 1858 1838 a daughter of Ed Ed- Edward Edward Edward ward and Jane Meredith Simons She was the widow of Joseph H. H Day and was one of Bountiful's noblest women She is survived by two daughters Mrs Jessie Lee of Salt Lake City land and Mrs Ida D. D Westerman Vesterman who is doing missionary work ork in the east east- eastern eastern ern em states three sons Dr J. J Ed Ed- Edward Edward Edward ward Day of Salt Lake City Leon Leonard Leonard Leonard ard Day of Bountiful and Russell S. S Day of Elko Nev sisters I Mrs Sarah Perkins and Mrs Rosa- Rosa Rosabelle Rosabelle belle Holbrook of Bountiful and Mrs Annie Jacobson of Salt Salt Lake City nine grandchildren and two great t prea Funeral services were held Tues Tues- Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday day at 4 p. p m. m in the Bountiful tabernacle under the direction of Bishop shop Del R. R Holbrook Henry W. W v. v Stable Stahle and President Wesley Vesley were the principal speakers Interment was in the Bountiful cemetery |
