A petition to the probate judge from a number of citizens of Bingham was read, to the effect that Mrs. Treeaakil and her three children had bean a burden on ihem for several sev-eral months, and as she had friends in Vancouver, Van-couver, B. C, they ask the honorable court to furnish a ticket for her and her children to that place. It was moved and passed that all order be given to the she rift to purchase tickets and give her $'J0 for expenses. A petition from William Mctntyre, asking that 4tSMot taxes be rebated to him, was referred to th" county attorney. A petition from J. A. Cunningham asking for $410.4(1 taxes to be rebated to him, was referred lo tho county attorney. A petition was presented by the citizens and taxpayers who live on the eastern side of tho city, ashing the court to regulate the fares charged by the street railroad companies, compa-nies, the companies charging two fares for those living beyond the city limits. It was moved and seconded that the petitioners and the street railroad companies be notified to meet tho court at their next regular meeting. A petition was presented iti regard to the Opening of Kleventh Last street, between Thirteenth and Fourteenth South. An agreemeut signed by three men that they would pay the amount opposite to their names, J, Riches, $M; Anion S. Oobboit, C. J. Rogtrt, ISO, was tiled with the petition. A petition from a number of taxpayers of the thirth ninth school district, requesting tile court not to take anil action on the division di-vision of their school district the court feeling that if there was going to be any change It had better be made when school was not in session, it was held over for further fur-ther advi-ement. Mr. Harris, the coroner, filed his bill against the county for SliT.Uo for January Which was allowed. Heretofore the coroner has iheluded jury and witness fees In his bill and has settled the same himself, but hereafter the witness and jurors will have to call on the county clerk for their claims. |
