Show Notice of Sale 1'lliier Deed of Trust. R7 HERB AS, CHARLES B. GOURLAY (AN " unmarried man), on the 31 si day of Julv, 189L executed and delivered to Edward B. Hodge of Burlington, Now Jersey, his certain promissory promis-sory note for the sum of Five Hundred i$500) dollars, payable October 3lst, 1891, with interest thereon at the rate of IN oer cent per annum from its date until fully paid, both principal ami interest inter-est being payable at the office of the undersigned iu Salt Lake City; and Whereas, to secure the payment of said note according ac-cording to its true tenor and effect the said Charles B. Gourlay on said July 31st, 18111, executed and delivered to the undersigned, Edward B. Critchlow, Critch-low, Trustee, of the City and County of Salt Lake, a certain deed whereby he conveyed to the under-'itrned under-'itrned in trust the following described premises situate in the City and County of Suit Lake, Utah Territory, to wit: Lots Three (3) and Four (4), In block Twenty .30); Lots Two (3), Four (41, and Five (5), Block twenty twen-ty one (31); Lot Five (51, Block Twentv-three (381. and Lot Four (4), Block Thirty-seven (37),) all In Kinney .t Gourlay's Improved City Plat of Salt Luke City, which said deed was duly filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of Salt Lake County, Utah, on the 35th day of July, 1891, and recorded in Book "3 A" of mortgages, page 448 of the Records of said office, and Whereas, said deed provides among other things that should default be made in the payment of said note according to its truo tenor and effect said trustee, at the request of the legal holder of said note may proceed to sell the property hereinbefore herein-before and In said deed described at nublic vendue to the highest bidder, at the front door of the Court House, at the County Seat of Salt Lake County, Ltali, for cash, first giving 30 days public notice of the time, terms, and nlace of sale and description of tho property to bb sold by advertisement adver-tisement in some newspaper printed and pub-tished pub-tished in the County of Salt Lake, and Whereas, said Charles B. Gourlay has failed ami refused to pay said note or the interest thereon, there-on, although the same is due and the undersigned as trustee has been requested by the said Edward B. liodge, the legal owner and holder of said note, to proceed to sell said premises. Now, therefore, pursuant to the power vested in me by said deed 1, Edward B. Critchlow, will sell the premises hereinbefore described, at public vendue, to tho highest bidder for cash, at tho front door of tho Countv Court House of Salt, Lake County, at Salt Lake City, Utah, on Tuesday, the 8th day of December, A. D. Ml, at 13 o'clock noon of said day, to satisfy said note and interest and the costs of executing said trust, including compensation to the undersigned for his services.
