Show POLICE CO I n r. I-awyer (iroven on Trial lor Conspiring in a Mining Ileal. The charge of conspiracy against Vttorney A. F. Groves came up for trial in th police court this morning and several witnesses were examined, after which the case was postponed until lo o'clock tomorrow mom ing. Groves Is ono of the parties w ho organized or-ganized the Blue .lav Mining com pany. It is claimed by Alexander Alexan-der Wood that the property was obtained from him by fraud. Be claims that the ol gaub'.'ts agreed to give him 100.000 shares of stock and a mortgage on Ihe property for $15,000. Tho prosecution is conducted by W. C.
