Show A NUPTIAL KNOT. Two Fond Hearts That Will Beat as One from iow On. A Lappy wedding is to be celebrated at 5 o'clock this afternoon at the residence of Hon. T. A. Davis, No. 105 B. street, in the marriage of Mr. W. A. Chapman of this city and Miss Eliza Fletcher of Orlando, Florida. Mr. Chapman was once connected with The Times, but is now the secretary of the West Side Rapid Transit company, and also of the Salt Lake Pickle company. Miss Fletcher is a daughter of Ingram Fletcher, formerly of Indianapolis, but now the postmaster at O. iando, Fla. She is a most amiable and intelligent in-telligent young lady, admirably qualified to honor the Chapman name and residence. She arrived here only a few days ago, chaperoned chap-eroned by Mrs. Spurryer, a lady friend, who was on her way to California. The knot is to be tied by Rev. II. B. Steelman of the Baptist church, of which Mr. Chapman is a member. Only relatives of the bride and groom will be present at the ccaemony, after which Mr. and' Mrs. Chapman will commence com-mence life's voyage together, in their own residence on the "corner of Q and Third street. There is an exquisite little romance connected with this marriage but the groom is to modest to have it related. A large number of presents of almost in-numerabl in-numerabl e' variety have been received from friends of the contracting parties living in Florida, Indiana, New York, California and other states both east and west. The Times extends the warmest congratulations. - . a . |
