Show : r-s;v. THE SCHOvX-ELECTION. Th Contoat to Taka I'laoa lntwin tb fartisani sad Nan-fartuaii. The election for school trustees will take place on Monday, at which time all who feel an iuteresl iu tho maintenance main-tenance and promotion of Zion's educational educa-tional system are urged to be on hand and see that the non-partisan spirit of the schools is preserved. There are two tickets in the field, one of which has been launched by the anti-party liners or liberals, while the latter is the resuit of non partisan deliberations in which democrats, republicans and liberals lib-erals took part. There is no issue upon which the contest rets save that of keeping politics out of the schoolliou.se, and with this determination on the part of a majority independent of polities, it is safe to predict the election of the tion-partisau ti"ket. No one who has welfare of the rising gpup-rnlion at heart should fail to register a vigorous demurrer to the introduction of politics poli-tics into the school system of Salt Lake. I . |
