Show ADDITIONAL MINING NEWS. Weekly Mining tummir;, Good weather, a fair price for lend and equitable smelting rates havo combined com-bined to make mi active week in turning. turn-ing. It I) :is been the tirst week of the year whcii nothing has occurred to militate against the mines making mak-ing a production equal to their capacity. The weather has been so cool Hi to preclude the opening of the prospecting season in the higher camps like the Cottonwoods, American Fork and a portion of Park City, and it may lie two or three weeks more before the season will be at its height w ith them. There has been only one unusual event in mining circles during the week, that being the receipt of n shipment of ore from the Dallon mine which proved to be of more than the average high grade, running from J(i.0 to over t.'UUO a ton in gold. One small shipment has been received receiv-ed from llugway and two from Fish Springs district. As developments progress pro-gress in those camps, the mines give lunher evidence of permanence and of their ability to make a steady production. The grade of ore shipped has 'jeen most satisfactory to the owners of the properties, but it is necessary t hut it should be sorted closely; but lack of transportation facilities will always preveut a largo production. All of the other camps in the territory are doing well and making a large productionin pro-ductionin most instances doing better than last year. lUngham is doing remarkably well, and the possibilities of the old camp are getting to be more appreciated. The report coming through from Marysvala and the otiier districts no the Sevier give promise that L'uh's gold production for ism will exceed that of any year in her history.
