Show Cariosities of tho Pine Tree Slate. In BlnehiU they are finding flint arrow heads about three feet under ground in the vicinity of Norris pond. A warming pan and clock, the latter seven feet eight inches high, and both 135 years old, are among the family antiquities an-tiquities in possession of Mr. F. A. Howard, How-ard, of Belfast. In Willimantic, on Lake Sebec, in Piscataquis Pis-cataquis county, a suow white deer of immense size was seen the other day. A Belfast man has a queer pet in the shape of a black cat that has double feet on her forelegs. Just above her forefeet, on the inside of the leg, is another but smaller set of toes. When the cat walks the double feet are on the ground and give her a clumsy appearance. Kennebec Kenne-bec Journal. |
