Show AN ORDINANCE 1JROVIDINU FOR FILL1NO VACANCIES J that may exist tn any elective office of Salt Lake Cltv. Section 1. Ite it ordained by the city council f Salt Lake City: That Incase any vacancy may exist in any elective office of the city, the city council shall appoint, suitable person to till said vacancy, who shall qualify and give bond in the same manner, perform the same duties and be subject to the same liabilities a the ortlcer whose office shall become vacant, aud he shall hold onice until his sucoessorahall he dulv elected and qualified, unless sooner removed re-moved by the city council for cause.
