It is reported re-ported here that Jay Gould during bis coming visit here will look into the matter mat-ter of extending the Union Pacific system sys-tem so as to give it a direct entrance into Helena, over its own lines, by way of the new line aud the Utah and Northern North-ern to Pocatcllo, Short Line to Grauger and the Union Pacilic proper to Omaha. The latter road it is asserted would then have the most direct line from Chicago to ttiis point in the northwest.
