Show A rive Wire Kill a Wrestler. While Joseph Cochran. 24 years old, and John McDermott, 23 years, were engaged in a friendly tussle at Consho-hocken, Consho-hocken, they became entangled in two broken electric light wires. Cochran was' instantly killed and McDermott had his leg and hand severely burned. The wires were broken by the storm. When McDermott rege.ined consciousness the blood was running out of his ears and his nerves felt terribly shattered. He went to Dr. Hall's office and had his wounds dressed. He was so dazed that he lost his hat and did not know it until he was told by two young men, Horace Little and Amos Hayden. Little and Hayden helped him to hunt for his hat, but none of them saw the body of Cochran, as the night was intensely dark. All three men went home without knowing know-ing of the death of Cochran. Cochran's body was found about 2 o'clock in the morning by two workmen. Coroner Long made an investigation, and the following verdict was rendered in accordance ac-cordance with facts gleaned from witnesses: wit-nesses: "Joseph Cochran was accidentally accident-ally killed by coming in contact with an electric light wire on the morning of June 13, 1890."
