Show DESIGNATING THE DELEGATES. Selection of a County Delegation to the Territorial Conveution, It was after delays that are inalienably inaliena-bly associated with political institutions that the People's convention got down to business yesterday and forced itself beyond the jurisdiction of the afternoon . dailies. Tho convention, which was for the selection of delegates to the territorial convention which is to be held on Tuesday next, was called to order by Hon. F. S. Richards, after which Richard W. Young was chosen temporary chairman and C. L. Borry secretary. On motion a committee of five, consisting con-sisting of John G. Smith, T. V. Williams, Wil-liams, Richard Howe, E. U. Holding and Fergus Coalter, was appointed on credentials. There being no contesting delegations, delega-tions, the committeo ratified the credentials cre-dentials as presented to it, and tho selection se-lection of delegates being loft to each precinct, the following nominations wore announced: First precinct J. 11. Paul, John G. Smith. Second precinct David McKonzie.J, II. Moylo. Third precinct J. W. Summerhnvs, J. 8. Tingey. Fourth precinct It. W. Young, II.M. Wells. Fifth precinct O. S. Clawson, T. V. Williams. County James Jensen, John W. Sharp, 'Joseph J. Williams, Richard Howe. R. S. Wells moved that the names presented bo elected, and it was carried. Delegate nt large Hon. F. S. Richards. Rich-ards. Altornatos William Fuller, II. P. Richards, A. W. Carlson, S. A. Runner, E. (i. Wooley and Georgo M. Spencer. A vote of thanks was extended the fircsiding oilicers, and tho convention laving completed its labors adjourned siue die. |
