Show The Busy Silver Mills. Butts Inter-Mo ur.ta'o. '1 There is to-day not one single silver mill in this entire camp that is idle. The Blue Bird, after a suspension of just a year; has again taken its place among the bullion producers of the distrio. Tbe Mouldon, that had so recently to suspend owning to the demolishing de-molishing of its great stack, is again in line, the stack having been unlit much stronger and much more serviceable service-able than before. Every stamp of the Alice is in active motion with ore sufficient suffi-cient in the depths of its mines to ilast for time unlimited.; The Lexington, since the time spent in repairs recently, has never - slackened its speed and shipments of silver have been as regular as tho seasons. The silver Bow is daily consuming ores from the Sisters, Josephine, Gray Rocks and other valuable mines of the prosperous Butte & Boston company. Ail that are now suspended are the old free-milling mills that have long since been figured only among the mills that. were. - The old Lexington mill on East Broadway Is finding its earthly home by being covered up by the city authorities in order to grade and widen that thoroughfare. thor-oughfare. The Clippor, Centennial ana old Dexter are now only remnants of their once former prosperity and now crumbling fast into dust. Of the later base milling plants, built according accord-ing to all modern improvements every one in tbe whole of this most prosperous prosper-ous mining oamp on earth is in full and active operation. |
