In developing the natural resources of Salt Lake aud the territory tributary tributa-ry or adjacent to it, many persons have received assistance by the timelv aid of such companies as the Salt Lake Valley Loan and Trust company, which has oftiees iu the Daft building. It uegotl-ates uegotl-ates real estate loans for corporations and capitalists and loans money on approved ap-proved real estate security. This latter is its distinguishing function. Its business busi-ness is chiefly lirst mortgage loans on improved Salt Lake realty by principal note and interest coupons, a plan much favored by eastern investers. The officers of-ficers of the company arc: O. J. Salisbury, Salis-bury, president; Frank II. Dyer, vice-president; vice-president; G. M. Cummiugs, secretary, aud S, II. Fields, jr., treasurer. These gentlemen, with the following named members of the board of directors: W. S. McCornick, Simon Bamberger. Geo. M. Downey.Johu A. Groesbeck.Eniauu-el Groesbeck.Eniauu-el Kahn aud M. 11. Evans, constitute a body i of executive officers who are identified in many ways with our numerous nu-merous manufacturing aud commercial institutions, and havo always aided meritorious enterprises. These gentlemen gentle-men would give stability, financial honor and integrity to any institution with which they might connect theiu-6ejves. |
