Show Union National Rank. The Union National bank of Salt Lake is one the most ably , and honorably managed fiscal institutions in this country. Its career since its foundation has been one of the most creditable character alike conducive to the financial finan-cial welfare of its stockholders, depositors deposit-ors and customers; it has ever been noted as a vigorous exponent of the securest principles governing banking, and finance leading business men are among its depositors. Its accounts are a desirable class of paper, being in a position to discriminate, as also its loans, which are most judiciously made and correspondingly remunerative collections col-lections are promptly made on all available avail-able points, its connections being of the most influential character. This bank was originally started by Walker Bros, thirty-one years ago. and was reorganized reorgan-ized in 1885, and has a paid up capital of $400,000, and a surplus fund of $5000, undivided profits, $25,000, and is a depository depos-itory of tho United Stales. The officers are J. It. Walker, president; M. H. Walker, vice-president; M. J. Chees-man, Chees-man, cashier; L. H. Farnsworth, assistant assist-ant cashier, and J. R. Walker, Jr., assistant as-sistant cashier. These gentleman are men of experience in the business of banking, and are thoroughly acquainted with the needs of the west, and consequently conse-quently can bo relied on to look after the city's interest. When a bank is under the conservative yet enterprising management of such experienced bankers, bank-ers, it is safe to say that all business entrusted to its care will be honorably handled. |
