Mrs. Robert Streator of Cop-perton Cop-perton was hostess Thursday with a party honoring the fifth birthday of her ' son Junior. Twelve small guests enjoyed games and a birthday cake. C. students who spent their spring vacation at the home of their parents. Mr. and M'rs. Hector Chlara of Salt Lake City spent the week end as guests of Mrs. Margaret Contratto. Mrs. Esther Clough and Mrs. Clifton Pierce of Salt Lake City were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clough. LOCAL NOTES Maurine Nelson, small daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nelson, Nel-son, received painful burns on her leg and hip when she fell recently on a hot air heater. Henry Grohne, general contractor contrac-tor of Decatur, Illinois, was a-warded a-warded the contract for repainting repaint-ing and redecorating the local post office.
