Show BOURBONS PLAN RALLY TO BE HELD ON ELECTION EVE SENATOR THOMAS, CALVIN W. RAWLINGS, A. J. ABLETT TO MAKE SPEECHES . Senator Elbert D. Thomas will be the principal speaker at the Democratic Demo-cratic rally and free picture show at the Princess theatre Monday, November 2, 7:30 p.m. Calvin Raw-lings, Raw-lings, candidate for reelection as district attorney, and Al. J. Ablett, local candidate for representative, will make addresses. Many of the state and county Democratic candidates candi-dates will be present to be introduced intro-duced to the audience. At this time he devoted a portion of his talk to the mineral and mining prospects of the west. Tn tho spnatp he is a committee member on "Mines and Minerals" and "Education and Labor", besides having places on committees of "Military Affairs" and Foreign relations". re-lations". Alvin Keddington's White Chapel quartette will supply musical numbers num-bers for the program. The general public, regardless of political beliefs, be-liefs, is invited to the rally. A free show for chidren wil be presented Monday 4:00 p.m. Democrats opened their headquarters head-quarters the first of the week in the Bolognese building with Joe Timothy in charge. |
