Show U.S. Rallies To Beat Provo Overcoming a three run lead, the U. S. Mines defeated the Provo Timps Sunday at Provo by the score of 9-4. The miners touched three Provo pitchers for 16 hits. They drove Jim Hawkins from the mound in the fifth, and then knocked Lefty Cole out of the box in the sixth. Cole was relieved by Deb Dudley, Dud-ley, who held the locals in check the last two Innings. Adams as catcher for the U. S. team did some good hitting for the local nine, getting four hits out of 5 times at plate, one of them being be-ing a triple. Joe Myers also got .a three bagger for the locals. Krisman, Mclvor, and Reed hit well for the miners. strike out record and beating; Miners Min-ers Mere. 9-0. Raymond Gonzoles for pitchinr his team to a victory over Tommy Kononas.
