bank of Hastings who was w s named to head the ticket by acclamation Mr Dieterich ac ao accepted accepted tho the nomination in a brief speech in which he predicted a reclamation of Nebraska by the instruction Chairman John L Webster from the resolutions committee then laid his re report report report port before the house Its reading was loudly applauded and the report was unanimously adopted holding terri territory tory On the the trust question it says The Republican party recognizes that legitimate legitimate mate business fairly capitalized and hon boa honestly honestly estly managed successfully to compete with foreign countries in the markets of the world But the Republican party now as always is unalterably opposed to al all trusts and combinations having for their purpose the stifling of competition and I arbitrarily controlling productions or fixing prices We refer to the fact that all restrictive legislation In the national congress has been the product of the Re
